Title 17 ZONING
Chapter 17.84 ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT
17.84.020 Zoning administrator.
A. For the purpose of the administration and enforcement of this
section within the corporate limits of the city, the position of zoning
administrator is established.
1. The director of the planning and community
services department is designated zoning administrator.
2. The director may
also designate deputy zoning administrators as deemed necessary for the proper
administration and enforcement of this section.
B. The zoning administrator
shall also:
1. Serve as staff executive to the city planning and zoning
commission;
2. Review recommendations, recordable documents, platting and
rezoning;
3. Represent the city planning and zoning commission in conference
with property owners, builders and developers in regard to development or
utilization of specific properties;
4. Prepare studies, proposals and
reports on zoning matters and provide such information to the city
council;
5. Supervise and evaluate work of department staff;
6. Adopt
rules and procedures consistent with this title for its implementation. (Ord.
