Each applicant for employment with the city of Safford following the effective date of the ordinance codified in this section shall submit a full set of fingerprints to the city for the purpose of obtaining state and federal criminal records checks. Records checks shall be conducted pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes 41-1750. The Arizona Department of Public Safety is authorized to exchange fingerprint data with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. (Ord. 01-002)
